When you think back to all the SH*T you ate over the weekend...😳😬😂 New week, new you, new goals?! Right?! LOL seriously though everyone is human and life is life! If you splurge one evening or fall off your diet here and there, DON’T BEAT YOURSELF UP ABOUT IT! That’s THE WORST! Aka it screws with your mental health which is first and foremost in importance and key to proper physical health. As I’ve gotten older, I’ve learned and am STILL learning to not be so hard on myself, especially when it comes to my body and diet, because it’s CONSTANTLY evolving. As long as I know I’m putting in the work 99-100% of the time, especially being a competitor prepping for shows and being so “on” most of the year, which trust me will not be forever, I believe that balance and wiggle room is 100% ESSENTIAL AND KEY, so long as it’s timed right, EARNED and you’re NOT PREPPING for a show. This “fitness” lifestyle though, not even just competing, isn’t for everyone or the weak mind or less disciplined, but it’s the HEALTHIEST to me and makes cheat meals, vacays, birthdays and special occasions THAT much more SPECIAL, memorable and well worth it. So don’t ask me why it wouldn’t be for everyone LOL. 🤔 But remember, next time you eat that cheeseburger or cheat meal whether it be planned or unplanned and wake up with super GUILTY feelings the next morning, just pretend it was a MAGICAL cheeseburger that’s going to help you squat 225 and watch the MAGIC ENSUE! Lol it’s all mental guys! One cheat isn’t going to KILL you or completely derail all your progress or hard work. In fact, it’ll actually make your body work a lot harder, producing quite the opposite effect. Don’t feel guilty and get down and allow ONE cheat give you those “F*CK IT” feels though.
